Difficult to say whether the surge in Engineering Exports seen in July can be sustained says Engineering Export Promotion Council
Engineering Exports are amongst a handful of sectors which managed to post
a positive trend of 8.6 per cent growth
as global demand for essential metals and other related items has started
bouncing back, Mr Mahesh Desai Chairman of Engineering Export Promotion Council
said while commenting on the trade data for July.
However, with resurgence of cases in several parts of the world, it would be difficult to say whether the
positive trend, as seen in the engineering exports in July , can be sustained
of relief the sharp slide in India's exports arrested in July, 2020
It is a matter of relief that the sharp slide in India's exports has been
arrested in July, 2020 even as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to create health
and economic disruptions in the world.
