ship WAN HAI 272 collided with container ship SANTA LOUKIA in Bangkok approach fairway at around
0835 LT Jan 28, near buoy 9.
WAN HAI 272 sustained portside damages in the fore
cargo deck area, and remained at collision site, probably grounded, or
entangled with buoy. As of 1130 LT Jan 28, WAN HAI 272 remained in the same position, with 3
tugs working on her. WAN HAI 272 was sailing to Laem Chabang from Bangkok,
she arrived at Thailand from China.
