LP Logiscience unveils mega solar-powered warehouse in Mumbai

Spread across a 15-acre private campus with 5 lakh sq.ft. of storage space, the newly launched facility is one of the largest 3PL multiclient facilities in India, equipped with state-of-the-art fire and safety compliance measures. The warehouse proudly boasts a capacity to store up to 450 kW of solar energy, generating an impressive 6.10 lakh units of energy annually and saving approximately 4,93,057 metric tons of CO2 emissions per year. This initiative is complemented by rainwater harvesting and a fleet of EV and CNG vehicles for green distribution, highlighting LP Logiscience’s holistic approach to minimizing its environmental footprint while ensuring operational excellence.

IMCD, a global leader in specialty chemical ingredients, has chosen this green warehouse for their storage needs, reflecting their commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency. Narendra Varde, Managing Director of IMCD India and Bangladesh, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the positive impact on the value chain and the contribution to community development through solar electricity support to nearby villages.
