CCBA Organizing and Interactive Session (Open House) exclusive for their Custom Brokers with Commissioner of Customs (Exports)

The Chennai Customs Brokers’ Association (CCBA) organised the second Interactive Session (OPEN HOUSE) exclusively for their Custom Brokers with Commissioners of Customs (Exports) Chennai Customs on 30th May 2024 at Club Hall, Sea Customs. Shri A. Manimaran, IRS, Commissioner of Customs (Exports), Smt. D. Sangeetha IRS, Addl Commissioner of Customs (Export), Shri R. Sri Balaji, IRS Addl. Commissioner of Customs (Exports), were interacted with CBs.  CCBA President Shri R.N. Sekar and Secretary Shri S. Nataraja briefed about the recent trade facilitations and appreciated for extensive support given by Chennai Customs to the Trade.  Paperless transactions, automated process in the customs clearance in single window System were the key milestone changes done under the ease of doing business. Shri R.N. Sekar President CCBA pointed the some of the challenges faced by the members in tracking the business due to various issues on export and CFS operation related matters.  The Commissioner has appreciated the role of CCBA, and representations done through various forums like PTFC and CCFC very effectively.   The Commissioner has explained in detail and clarified to all the grievances raised by CCBA and thereafter interactions with members.
