The Chennai Customs
Brokers’ Association (CCBA) organised a Mega Free Medical Camp jointly with
Apollo Hospitals on 5th July at Chennai Sea Customs
The Chief Commissioner of Customs, Chennai Zone Dr Ram Niwas, IRS Inaugurated the camp in the presence of Dr Srividya, PAN India Medical Director, Apollo Hospital and Shri R. Srinivasa Naik, IRS, Principal Commissioner of Customs (General), Shri K.S.V.V. Prasad, IRS, Commissioner of Customs (Imports), Shri A. Manimaran, IRS, Commissioner of Customs (Exports), Shri K. Veerbhadra Reddy, IRS, Commissioner of Customs (Audit) and Shri Rajesh Fattesing Dhabre, IRS, Commissioner of Customs (Appeals).
It was organised for the opportunity to have health check for all CB members and their employees as well as all customs officials.
CCBA President Shri R.N. Sekar welcomed all officials and Customs Brokers and thanked Chief Commissioner of Customs for his immediate acceptance for permitting such Mega free Medical Camp at Customs premises and also his presence for inaugurating the camp.
450 plus participants attended and done the health check up from 11.00 am till 5.00 pm on 5th July 2024.
The Chief Commissioner emphasised the need of regular check-up and also appreciated CCBA for their efforts to conduct such camp for the betterment to their employees.
Shri. S. Nataraja, Secretary, CCBA thanked Customsficers and trade for participating in the session and make this event a grand success.
