Wi-Fi Logger For Cold Chain And Warehouse Monitoring

BrainChild Electronics Co., Ltd. has officially launched the XH12 Wi-Fi Temperature and Humidity Data Logger, the latest addition to its XHLogger series. Designed specifically for cold chain logistics and warehouse environments that require multi-point sensing, it provides real-time monitoring for large facilities such as warehouses and laboratories.

The DLV software also supports other models in the series, including the XH10 and XH11. This  intuitive interface functionality is ideal for environments that require efficient management of multiple monitoring points. It operates on Wi-Fi networks, and in areas with weak signals, coverage can be extended using Wi-Fi boosters. Even if Wi-Fi connectivity is lost, or the software is not active, the logger’s data continuity feature ensures that unsynchronized data is automatically uploaded once the connection is restored, maintaining the integrity of long-term monitoring.

The key specifications include:

·         Logs up to 79,000 temperature and humidity data points per project

·         Wireless transmission of data via Wi-Fi to PC or laptop using DLV Data Logger Viewer software

·         Intuitive interface for monitoring multiple XH12 devices simultaneously

·         Provides real-time alerts for accurate and timely data management

·         Operates on 2.4G Wi-Fi networks

With its external sensor design, it offers 1 or 2-meter cable options, making it suitable for specialized environments like refrigerated storage in hospitals, large retail stores, and museums. The sensor can be placed at the monitoring point while the main unit remains outside, preserving signal transmission and preventing interference from heat generated by electronics.

The company states that the data logger represents a significant advance in wireless monitoring technology, offering a reliable solution for industries that require precise environmental monitoring. This launch underscores its commitment to innovation and its leadership in the market for high-precision data management solutions.
