Alpha Kreol India welcomes first biofuel-shipped container at Cochin

Avolta and DB Schenker, the global shipping company, have entered an agreement to utilise biofuel for shipping routes from Europe to select locations, including Cochin, India. This initiative aligns with Avolta, Alpha Kreol and Cochin Duty Free’s commitment to reducing carbon footprints and promoting greener alternatives in the supply chain.

Alpha Kreol has been managing Cochin Airport’s duty free operations since 2002. Cochin Airport reported its facilities utilise 100% solar energy for all its operations.
