DPA Kandla achieves record-breaking milestones in December 2024

These accomplishments reflect DPA’s unwavering commitment to operational excellence and its pivotal role in India’s maritime sector.

1.     Highest Ever Vessels Handling in a Month
DPA has achieved an extraordinary milestone by handling a record 354 vessels in December 2024, surpassing the previous highest of 327 vessels handled in October 2024.

2.     Highest Traffic Volume in a Month
In December 2024, DPA handled 13.03 million metric tons (MMT) of cargo, breaking its earlier record of 12.90 MMT achieved in March 2024.

3.     Highest Rice Handling in a Month
DPA recorded an impressive 4,54,635 tons of rice handled in December 2024, surpassing the previous high of 3,43,906 tons achieved in November 2024.

4.     Highest Export Volume from Kandla
DPA also exported a record 35,86,709 tons of cargo in December 2024, breaking the previous record of 33,48,891 tons set in April 2022.
