Indian Coastal Guard has carried out a successful medical
evacuation of the Indonesian crew, who were suffering from stomach pain and
high fever from an Iranian-flagged vessel, last week.
The Indian Coastal Guard Ship C-149 conducted MEDEVAC of
an Indonesian crew after an Iranian flagged vessel MV Wave 47 Nautical miles
South West of Diu on January 19 after the crew fell sick.
The Indian Coast Guard team comprising medical
specialists examined the crew member and he was then stabilized by the team.
