India’s national security adviser,
Ajit Kumar Doval, along with three other officials, completed a brief visit to
Bangladesh on a special military flight.
They arrived on special flight
IFC0064 at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka 6:30pm on Saturday 3
Feb (Bangladesh time), two senior Bangladeshi officials told New Age on Monday.
The flight left Dhaka at about 3:30pm
on Sunday.
No formal comment was available from
the foreign or home ministries about his visit to Dhaka.
In 2018, Doval arrived in Dhaka on a
three-day official visit to attend a meeting of the BIMSTEC national security
chiefs.
Former police officer Doval is the national
security advisor to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a former chief of
the Intelligence Bureau.
