Valued at Rs
105 crore, this 6-year agreement marks a pivotal milestone for the company,
propelling it into a new phase of expansion and collaboration within India’s
logistics landscape.
The contract entails the lease of
a parcel cargo express train (PCET), which will operate between Korukkupet
Goods Shed in Chennai and New Guwahati Goods Shed in Guwahati. Over the course of the contract,
the train will undertake 313 trips, with four trips scheduled every month.
Initially carrying a capacity of 364 tonnes per trip, this capacity will later

service promises swift and seamless connectivity between the two key locations.
This development underscores AVG Logistics’ commitment to enhancing logistical
