In the ‘CPSE Conclave’ held on 29th
February 2024 in New Delhi, Kamarajar
Port was honoured for the highest percentage in procurement from women-owned
Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) within the CPSE category.
Shri Narayan Rane, Minister of Micro,
Small, and Medium Enterprises for the Government of India, presented an award which
was graciously received by Shri Yatin Patel, General Manager(CS&BD) of
Kamarajar Port Limited. The recognition
was bestowed upon KPL for its outstanding procurement practices, specifically
in the category of total procurement between Rs. 100 Crore and
Rs. 1000 Crore for the fiscal year 2022-23.
This achievement reflects KPL's ongoing
mission to advance socio-economic progress and create a more equitable business
environment. Looking ahead, KPL is committed to fostering further partnerships
with women-owned MSEs and driving positive change in the marketplace.
