Their deployment on multiple routes has made
rail travel more convenient for people, elevating the standards of Indian railways amidst evolving circumstances.
On Friday, 15 Mar, the
Indian Railways took to Twitter to share a video celebrating the ‘Grace and
Glory’ of the Vande Bharat Express trains.
‘Grace
& Glory packed in one: Vande Bharat Express darting through the tracks,
carrying smiles for miles’, the Ministry of Railways captioned the video.
The video shows
various Vande Bharat Express trains blazing through different parts of the
country while delivering on its promises of safety and standards.
Earlier this month,
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 10 new Vande Bharat trains connecting various
destinations across India. These trains commenced their journeys between New Jalpaiguri and
Patna, Patna and Lucknow, Lucknow and Dehradun, Puri and Visakhapatnam, Kalaburagi
and Bengaluru, Ranchi and Varanasi, Khajuraho and Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai,
Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, and Mysuru and Chennai. With these additions,
the total number of operational Vande Bharat Express trains in the country has
exceeded 50.
In addition to the inauguration of the 10 new
trains, four existing Vande Bharat trains are set to undergo route extensions.
