This award was given to recognize the outstanding contributions of Capt
Mohan who for over five decades, had worked tirelessly to promote the shipping
and logistics industry, and Indian shipping.
He has also held leadership
positions as President of The Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI),
The International Billiards & Snooker Federation (IBSF) and The
International FORCE Group (Freight Organization of Related Cargo Experts).
In a packed venue at the International Conference on Shipping & Logistics
held at HICC, Novotel, Hyderabad on 22nd March 2024, the organizers lauded Capt Mohan as a giant in the industry.
Capt Mohan, while receiving the award said, “…I owe this achievement to
the support of my family, friends, well-wishers, and colleagues. I will continue contributing as much as I
can to the shipping and logistics industry which has given me so much over the
years.”
Speaking on the occasion, Capt Vivek S Anand, Founder & Chairman,
CVSA & Associates said, “..Capt Mohan is the only Master Mariner to have
held the coveted position as Chairman of the National Shipping Board for six
years.”
