GPPL [APM Terminals Pipavav] has created Indian Auto export history as the first
choice for Honda to export their new mid-size SUV to Japan.
The made in India Honda Elevate got launched in the
Japanese market under the brand name WR-V in March 2024.
This
is for the first time in Honda’s business that a model is being exported from
India to Japan representing not only a significant leap for the India’s
automotive industry but also highlighting the country’s growing manufacturing
prowess and global competitiveness.
GPPL partnered with NYK
line and Auto
Logistics to load the initial lot of cars in December
2023.
A celebration was held, witnessed by Mr. Takuya Tsumura – President &
