Dakshin
Bharat Gateway Terminal (DBGT) has ended the FY 2023-24 in a very confident
note by handling 602,969 TEU’s with Y-o-Y growth rate of 6%, surpassing the
operational capacity of 0.6m TEUs.
DBGT
has handled 412 vessels to achieve the feat of 602,969 TEU’s despite facing most
vulnerable global trade challenges, sectoral challenges, and negative trade
balance during FY 2023-24
The
Terminal Management expresses satisfaction with overall performance and stated
that “DBGT’s achievement is rewarding and reflects the results of our
relentless workforce and the commitments assured to the customers.”

o o Certified ISO 14001:2015 by BUREAU VERITAS.
o o Handled MV. MSC SAMANTHA with highest parcel size of 2480 units with total port stay of 30 hours.
o o DBGT received the highest accolade during “Global Maritime India Summit – 2023” as “Maritime Excellence in Global ESG initiatives”.
o o 63 x 40’ of OOG shipments been safely handled in one single vessel voyage with a remarkable outturn @ 12 minutes / unit.
o o Introduction of China-India Service 7 (CI7) that directly connects Ports in Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, China, and Singapore.
o o Introduction of Pan-India Coastal Service I (PIC-1), a direct service to Mundra.
o o Achieved best productivity of 48 moves/crane (GCR) on MV. STAR BRIGHT berthed on 09.11.2023.
o o Continuous process improvements at various levels across Operations / Safety / Engineering / IT Depts.
