Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh - Visakha Container Terminal (VCTPL) of J M Baxi Ports & Logistics has achieved a historic milestone by handling the two longest vessels ever to berth at any Indian port on the East Coast. On May 11, 2024, just a week later, the M.V. MSC MONICA CRISTINA arrived, setting another record with an LOA of 365.99 meters, a TEU capacity of 15,256, and a beam of 51 meters. With a GRT of 150,783, MSC MONICA CRISTINA further demonstrated Visakha Container Terminal’s enhanced handling capabilities.
