Authority, Kandla celebrated WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY with theme Land Restoration,
Desertification & Drought Resilience following UN Decade on Ecosystem
(2021-2030) at Officers Club, Gopalpuri. Shri Nandeesh Shukla, IRTS, Dy.
Chairman and Shri V. Raveendra Reddy, Chief Engineer encouraged the attendees
with their inspiring words. Distinguished guests from the Gandhidham Chamber of
Commerce and Industries, Gandhidham Municipality, KLTTA, Rotary Club, CISF and
NGOs attended the celebration.
DPA, Kandla along
with the AAS foundation, CISF Unit DPA Kandla and Rotary Club organized a
plantation drive at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Convention Centre, Gandhidham;
followed by the Rotary Forest area. The event concluded with the spirit of
World Environment Day beyond today, integrating eco-conscious practices into
our daily lives. Pledging “Together, we can make a profound difference for
generations to come.”
