The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has gone a step ahead in
making riverine transport more greener by deploying Hydrogen fuel cell powered
ferries. The first of its kind vessel is currently sailing towards Varanasi in
Uttar Pradesh.
The vessel was built at the Cochin shipyard and was launched virtually
