The event was inaugurated by Shri Surendra
Ahirwar, Joint Secretary Logistics & Trade, Ministry of Commerce &
Industry at Yashobhoomi, India International Convention & Expo Centre
(IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi. IWS continues
to be a cornerstone event for warehousing, material handling, logistics,
automation, and supply chain professionals, bringing the entire industry
together under one roof. The inauguration ceremony was graced by several
dignitaries including Kamlesh Gosai, Executive Director /Gati Shakti (Traffic),
Railway Board (Ministry of Railways), H. N. Aswath, Development Advisor,
Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, and Sagar Kadu, Director Logistics,
Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
During his keynote address,
Shri Surendra Ahirwar emphasized the
transformative changes in India’s logistics sector, highlighting the
integration of technology and human skills that have significantly enhanced
efficiency in the supply chain. He stated, “Exhibition and Conferences like
the India Warehousing Show are crucial catalysts for brainstorming, ideation,
and innovation. We are witnessing significant advancements in digitalization,
infrastructure, and investments in the logistics sector every month. As we look
towards 2047, our collective efforts across government, industry, and citizens
aim to establish India as a developed nation. The international exchange at
India Warehousing Show fosters sharing of technology, knowledge, and best
practices, driving forward our logistics industry.”
Mr.

The 13th edition of the
India Warehousing Show saw participation from 250 exhibitors. RX India aimed to
offer an immersive experience and platform where participants could witness the
latest technological advancements and live product demonstrations from the
biggest national and international companies providing solutions for storage,
transportation, and logistics. The event also showcased a series of expert-led
panel discussions, industry talk shows, and networking sessions with industry
leaders designed to provide valuable insights into the logistics, warehousing,
and supply chain industries.
Attendees had the
opportunity to engage in discussions with Government and Industry decision-makers
on topics such as the National Logistics Policy, optimizing logistical costs,
AI and Industry 4.0 in supply chain efficiency, and sustainability in logistics
