The delivery ceremony,
which marked the completion of over two years of meticulous building, was a
significant milestone for Royal Caribbean, paving the way for Utopia’s
spectacular debut on July 19, 2024, in Port Canaveral, Florida. The ceremony, held at the AquaTheater, was
attended by over 1,600 crew members and workers, alongside prominent figures
including Royal Caribbean International President and CEO Michael Bayley, Royal
Caribbean Group President and CEO Jason Liberty, and the General Manager of
Chantiers de I’Atlantique.

Seas is a significant milestone…Utopia will travel to the United States before
its debut, where final preparations will transform the ship into a party-ready
destination.
Utopia, the latest addition to the Royal
Caribbean’s Oasis Class, offers never-before-available 3-night and 4-night
weekend trip opportunities. It has over 40 dining venues, multiple pools, an adults-only Solarium,
trills like The Perfect Storm waterslides and the record-breaking Ultimate
Abyss Dry Slide.
Meghan Trainor, a
Grammy-winner, has been announced as Utopia’s Grandmother, bringing star power
to the ship’s inaugural celebrations.
Meghan Trainor expressed her
enthusiasm, stating that it was an honor for her to join the Royal Caribbean
family as the godmother of the Utopia of the Seas. She emphasized the synergy between her music and the
ship’s lively spirit.
