During this period,
the US port experienced growth in shipments of crude oil, break bulk, and
agricultural commodities. In particular, crude oil tonnage rose by 4.8% to
32.6 million tons, while breakbulk and agricultural cargoes increased by 52%
and 39.8%, respectively.
In the first half of 2024, the Port of Corpus
Christi moved 99.5 million tons, a slight uptick from the same period in the
previous year.
