Chennai Port Authority Commits Rs. 2.79 Crores to Social Development through CSR Initiatives for 2024-2025

The Chennai Port Authority (ChPA) has signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) on 21.10.2024 with various government and non-government organizations as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. A total of Rs. 2.79 crores have been allocated to support impactful projects aimed at uplifting local communities.

Key projects include:

• Greater Chennai Corporation: Construction of new classrooms at Corporate Girls Higher Secondary School (CGHSS).
• Madras Medical College: Infrastructure upgradation for vital lecture hall.
• Greater Chennai Traffic Police: Installation of essential traffic signages.
• District Collector: Development and enhancement of Anganwadis.
