"India
has become a promising market for Turkish apples, with a strong demand for Red
Delicious apples, a variety that aligns well with Indian consumer preferences
for crisp, sweet flavors and vibrant red colors. The import for Turkish apples begins in December
and extends through April, with peak quality maintained until the end of March.
After March, quality may begin to decline, making it crucial for exporters to
maximize shipments by the end of March. Turkish apples also offer an attractive
price-quality balance, giving them a competitive edge in the Indian
market."
According to Sharma, there's a solid four months of
peak trading when it comes to Turkish apples. After that, quality does become more of a
challenge. "The ideal window for exporting Turkish apples to India is
between December and the end of March. During this period, Turkish apples
retain their freshness, texture and visual appeal, making them highly
marketable. However, after April, quality control can become challenging due to
natural degradation over time. Thus, maximizing export volumes within this
timeframe ensures that Indian consumers receive high-quality apples."
Sharma is happy to announce they've founded a
company in Dubai to help with several factors of the imports to India.
"This year, we have established a new company in Dubai specifically to
handle Turkish apple exports with greater efficiency and security. Dubai's strategic location and business-friendly
environment make it an ideal hub for managing exports to India. This setup
allows us to address various challenges that exporters commonly face in the
Indian market, including payment security. This ensuring timely and secure
payment processing, which can be a challenge for many exporters. Our
Dubai-based company offers secure payment solutions, reducing the risk of
delayed or non-payments."

"They also manage
quality control for us, as consistent quality is key to maintaining the
reputation of Turkish apples in the Indian market. Our team works closely with
quality control experts to ensure that every shipment meets the highest
standards before it reaches India. Finally, they help with port clearance and
legal compliance. Indian import regulations and port clearance can present
challenges. With our experience and connections in the Indian market, we can
help facilitate smoother customs clearance and compliance with all necessary
regulations."
This service from the
company in Dubai can also be extended to other exporters, wanting to ship their
produce to the Indian market: "We invite exporters facing difficulties in
the Indian market to collaborate with us. Our Dubai company is well-equipped to
handle various issues, from payment to quality assurance, port clearance, and
legal compliance, ensuring a seamless experience. Interested exporters can sign
an exclusive agreement with us in Dubai, allowing us to manage all aspects of
the trade, including sales, payments, quality, and legal issues on their
behalf," Sharma concludes.
