its recognition as a recipient of the “CII Award on Excellence for
Women in STEM 2024.” This
prestigious award highlights RMSI’s commitment to fostering diversity and
inclusion within the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
fields. The award ceremony was held at the India Habitat Centre, New
Delhi and was attended by the industry leaders.
This initiative serves as a catalyst
for change, recognizing organizations and institutes that champion diversity
and inclusion in STEM. The award categories span various
sectors, including engineering, life sciences, ICT, and beyond, with
distinctions awarded to organizations, institutions, and individuals who
exemplify excellence in these areas.
As
one of the ‘Top 25’ organizations selected through a
comprehensive evaluation process by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII),
RMSI demonstrated its industry-leading best practices for empowering women in
technology. The rigorous selection included a detailed analysis of
organizational practices followed by presentations to a distinguished jury of
industry experts.
RMSI
received this esteemed award in the ‘Industry’ category alongside
other eminent recipients such as HCL Technologies, Ernst & Young,
PwC, Biocon Pharma, Philips India, and L&T Technology Services. In
the ‘Institution’ category, awardees include renowned
institutions like BITS Pilani, IIT Kharagpur, CSIR
– National Aerospace Laboratories, IIT Madras, and Indian
Council for Medical Research – RMRC.
