Allcargo to set up logistics park in Haryana/logistics park

In order to serve the expanding container traffic in the country’s north, Allcargo intends to establish a logistics park in the Jhajjar area of Haryana. “The establishment of a logistics park in Haryana has been approved in principle by Allcargo. Subject to the required regulatory permissions and rail connectivity, the facility should be operating by 2018, according to the company.

The project will include a free trade warehousing zone, a domestic tariff area, a rail-connected private freight terminal that serves railway cargo transit, and other associated businesses. Additionally, it will be equipped to manage contract logistics services for both inbound and outbound travel.

About 200 acres of freehold agricultural land near the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) have been selected by the corporation for the development of the aforementioned project. This will assist us in focusing on the expanding container traffic in the country’s northern regions, which is enhanced by DFC connectivity. The Jhajjar project will demonstrate our proficiency in managing containerized freight, break bulk cargo, and contract logistics operations.

However, the business made no mention of the financial factors in this context. Additionally, the facility will offer distribution solutions and

domestic tariff area (DTA) warehouse facilities for freight consolidation. This endeavor will enhance its operations as a container freight station.
