The Naval Connection Organises Maritime Soccer League (MSL) 6.0: The Ultimate Showdown with a Historic Highlight

The Maritime Soccer League (MSL) 6.0 is set to create history this year as it welcomes its first-ever All-Girls Team from Ganpat University, making this edition a landmark event in the tournament’s legacy. As the maritime industry’s premier 5-a-side football tournament, MSL continues to combine the thrill of sports with the celebration of teamwork, diversity, and camaraderie.

Organized by TNC Events, MSL 6.0 promises an action-packed day of fun, music, and cheer, bringing together 22 teams from across the maritime sector and beyond to compete for the coveted MSL trophy.

Event Highlights:

·         Date & Venue: Saturday, 8th February 2025, at Goalster, St. Joseph’s Sports Complex, Bandra, Mumbai.

·         Special Guests: The event will be graced by Mr. Balai Mukherjee, former India team player and Captain of East Bengal, as the Chief Guest, adding a touch of inspiration and prestige to the tournament.

·         Teams & Participation: 22 teams from various regions, including special entries from Gujarat and Chennai, will battle it out for glory. Last year’s champions, Anglo Eastern, and runner-up, Team NGT, will be returning to defend and reclaim their titles.

·         The All-Girls Team Highlight: Ganpat University’s all-girls team will be the centerpiece of this year’s event, showcasing the inclusivity and diversity that MSL stands for.This year Ganpat University is putting up two teams one all girls and one boys team

·         Trophy & Awards: Teams will compete for the MSL 6.0 championship, with special awards for Best Goalkeeper, Top Scorer, and Most Valuable Player.
