the Long-Range Training Deployment to Southeast Asia, strengthening maritime
cooperation and fostering mutual understanding. The squadron had previously
visited Singapore in October 2023.
During the port call,
Dr. Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore, visited the ships
and interacted with the Sea Trainees, emphasizing India’s role in Indo-Pacific
maritime security. The visit includes
professional exchanges, cross-training visits, and friendly sports fixtures,
reinforcing the strong maritime partnership between the Indian Navy and the Republic
of Singapore Navy (RSN)
