Kerala
stands at the forefront of start-up initiatives, with its investment ecosystem
surpassing that of many other States, State Industries Minister, P Rajeeve
said, while inaugurating the Rajagiri Business Forum (RBF). Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (RCSS) has long been a catalyst
in nurturing a dynamic environment that fosters innovation and supports the
growth of start-ups, setting an example for others, he added. The event
also celebrated the professional achievements of Rajagiri students,
highlighting their excellence in various fields.
The college also hosted a felicitation ceremony
honouring 50 successful alumni entrepreneurs. The institution is home to two
successful incubation centres -- LE Cocun and Gyanprayag -- which were set up
in collaboration with KSIDC and the Start-up Mission. The college
also organises training programmes to inculcate an entrepreneurial mindset
among students, while also hosting dynamic competitions such as ‘Ideathons’ to
ignite and nurture the entrepreneurial spirit on campus.
